Peavey Foundation 4 String Fretless Bass 1985 Black

1985 USA Made Peavey Foundation Fretless Bass. Black with matching headstock and rosewood fingerboard. The manual states that it has a maple body, though it could be poplar or alder. Super Ferrite pickups, which sound amazing and hum cancel when used together. Factory fretless, the headstock doesn't have the usual "FL" on it. This comes with a gig bag and all the allen wrenches and truss rod wrench.

This is a Jazz Bass killer for those who don't know, chances are that if you are looking at this, you already know what this is and what it's all about. I don't play much fretless, and my Lakland 5 string fretless is all I really need. In addition, I need to clear out some space, so I have to regrettably sell this one. I have another 1984 Foundation with frets, I toyed with the idea of keeping this one and putting frets on it, but decided to keep it as left the factory.

This is all original and in very good condition, easily a 8.5-9/10. It has a straight neck, fully set up to play nicely with some DR Sunbeams. Everything outside of the strings are original. Anything that is threaded turns properly and is not stripped. The chrome is shiny and unpitted The rubber grips are missing off of 2 of the knobs. There are some light scratches and a couple dings here and there. Some round wound teeth marks are showing up and down the fingerboard. Nothing out of the ordinary for a 33 year old bass.
