Really cool vintage 1/4" analog tape player recorder. It's a vintage Bell & Howell 771 StereoTone made in 1958. It has built in speakers, a tube amplifier, and nice looking case.
Get that fat vintage sound to your pro audio mix downs or playback those old reel to reel tapes. It has 2 built in speakers, a 1/4" input, 1/4" output, and it includes original Microphone and a 1/4" tape splicer. It also operates at 2 different tape speeds.
Surprisingly nice shape for the age. It looks really clean. I plugged it in and ran a tape through it, everything seemed to work just fine although the pots may need some cleaning since it hasn't been used in a long time. I also wouldn't be surprised if you decided you need to replace the tubes.
Note that I ran an 8-track 1/4" tape thru it (because I don't have any stereo 2 track tapes) so I can't be 100% sure on what I'm hearing, but everything seemed like it's working just fine. I also didn't test any recording functionality. It's SOLD AS IS although the testing I could do seemed good.
Note: it's my first time shipping with Reverb, so I'm depending on their estimator for shipping cost. If it's radically wrong for some reason, I'll let you know and reserve the right to cancel if I'm going to lose money due to a bad estimate :)
