This is called "The Shaman"- It is a binaural beat generator with connections and controls for both external audio signals and light connected via 1/4" connections.
I've used this occasionally since acquiring it and it works well. Very nice analog sound! Its low frequency sounds are particularly warm.
Fantastic cultural artifacts of early 1990's new-age culture! They were even written up in Yoga Journal in 1992. (See photo of a review from 1992).
This box is perfect for experimental projects, meditation, far out new age explorations of the astral plane, alpha wave therapy, drone sessions, circuit bending, lucid dreaming, hardware hacking, or what ever else you like. Treat them like signal generators or as your tickets to higher consciousness! Buy one, or buy both!
Nice warm sounds, very stable oscillators, and is in very good condition, and certainly more fun than the "binaural beats" apps that are being offered around online.
This is powered by a standard (i.e Boss-style) 9V AC power supply (not included).
