As you can see in the pics, this original vintage (first year) 1967 rickenbacker 456-12 convertible is in absolutely stunning shape. She is 100% stock, and in perfect playing condition. As rare as the 456-12 is, it's even rarer yet in for ‘67, with only a few hundred made for the lifetime of production. The neck is arrow straight and lightning fast, and the frets are like new. The original toaster pickups are perfect, and put out that great, crispy, jangly ric tone. Intonation is spot on and solid. The original comb is present and working too, and even (gasp) stays in tune!

Cosmetically, as the photos attest, she is in lovely condition. The finish is really warm and rosy, and she has clearly been well cared for; proudly displaying only the light, natural, and deserved play wear one would expect of a well loved instrument of this age and pedigree, mostly restricted the the sides, and comb area, and some pickguard cracking, all included at no extra charge. This is a truly lovely old vintage ric for the player, collector, or pro studio for whom the real thing really matters. A non original hardshell quality case (not pictured) is included. Very nice indeed.
