Oscar Schmidt OUB200K Comfort Series Ukulele Bass Mahogany with Gigbag

Tuned like a standard bass and to the same pitch, the Oscar Schmidt Ukulele Bass sounds amazingly like an upright bass. With a mahogany top, back, and sides, the OUB200 is part of Oscar's Comfort Series. This series features a rosewood comfort rest on the lower bout that offers an additional level of comfort for your forearm and a rosewood partial cutaway for accessing the upper frets. The preamp with tone and volume controls make the OUB200 a great performance instrument.
What sets this bass apart from the standard size basses is it's feel. With rubber strings you will go a very long time before you ever need to replace them. This bass is easy to play and can be used for many different styles of music and gigs. If you are in an acoustic band and want something similar to an up right bass tone this does the trick. While not being a true stand up bass it's tonal voicing is very similar. With a gig bag this bass is easy to take around and saves space if you're in a pinch. Overall we are blown away with how nice this sounds, how it feels and the tones you can produce with it.
