Steven Slate VSX Founders Edition Headphones + Spare Pads, Case, NO SOFTWARE

These are the Steven Slate Audio VSX Founders Edition headphones. They do not include the VSX software, an iLok licence, or a registration passcode. Buy these only if you already own VSX and need a replacement or second pair. Without the software, they are standard closed-back studio headphones.

• One new, unused set of replacement ear pads (not installed)

Condition: very good!

• Moderate use over the time I've owned them.
• I mix and master at low monitoring levels, so they have never been driven hard or overdriven.
• Smoke-free home studio. I've looked after them carefully.
• The headband has been covered by the protector the whole time, so the original faux leather is unworn.
• The original ear pads show light peeling on the inner surface. That's the only wear worth mentioning, and it's why I bought the replacement set. Installing them takes a few minutes, and with the new pads these look and feel close to new.

One thing to know before you buy
The headband sliders adjust very easily and do not click into set positions, like many headphones do. They've behaved this way since the day I bought them, and I'm mentioning it so nothing surprises you. Both sides move smoothly and the headphones sound and function as they should.
