Up for sale is a Wampler Ego Compressor, widely regarded as one of the most versatile, organic, and studio-grade guitar compressor pedals on the market.

Unlike traditional dynacomp or Ross-style circuits that squish your initial attack or alter your guitar's core frequency response, the Ego features a dedicated Blend control. This allows you to mix your dry, uncompressed signal back in with the squashed signal—giving you clean peak limiting and endless sustain while maintaining your natural pick attack, dynamic nuance, and instrument clarity.

This unit is the full-sized 5-knob V2 version in the striking blue sparkle finish with top-mounted jacks and soft-touch switching. It comes complete with its original factory box, drawstring pouch, sticker, and box candy.

Key Features & Technical Specifications:

• 5-Knob Control Layout: Independent controls for Sustain, Attack, Tone, Volume, and Blend.
• Parallel Compression (Blend Knob): Dial from 100% dry to 100% wet compression for subtle studio smoothing or heavy country pick-plucking sustain without losing transients.
• Tone Control: Adds subtle high-end chime and presence back into the signal to offset natural top-end rolloff caused by high compression settings.
• Power Requirements: 9V DC to 18V DC (Center Negative, standard 2.1mm barrel). Operating at 18V provides higher headroom and dynamic clarity. (Power supply not included).
• Bypass & I/O: True Bypass relay switching with top-mounted input/output jacks for pedalboard space efficiency.

Condition & Operational Notes:

• Cosmetic Condition: Excellent to Near-Mint. The metallic blue sparkle enclosure is in great aesthetic shape with sharp lettering and clean original white control knobs. Fully tested and 100% operational with smooth pot travel and quiet switching.
• Included Accessories: Original Wampler factory box, original velvet drawstring pedal bag, Wampler sticker, and manufacturer insert card.
