Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1961 Gibson single-pickup ES-175 in its original Sunburst finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the replaced buttons for the original single-line Kluson tuning keys, the upper strap button, and the plastic pickup ring and the Gretsch tailpiece. There is no evidence of any other tailpiece being on this guitar and there are no additional screw holes underneath. The bottom of the bridge is missing one of the two brass inserts. This guitar has a second serial number (A 30513) stamped in an unusual font and size over the original serial number (26937). The orange label inside the body has a hand written serial number that matches the second serial number (A 30513). The back of the headstock is a factory "stinger". A slightly later vintage Gibson ES-175 hardshell case is included. There are lots of nicks + dings and some areas where the finish was damaged from items stored for decades with it inside its previous case. There is a lot of corrosion and rust on the metal parts with the tuning keys having the most. The tuning keys were heavily oiled and worked before being reinstalled and they all function well. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great with its original PAF pickup.
We are happy to ship internationally.
