1964 Gibson RB-250 Mastertone Banjo w/ Original Lifton Case

Up for sale is an all-original 1964 Gibson RB-250 "Bowtie" Mastertone. Classic 60s bluegrass tone—bright, punchy, and loud.

Condition & Notes:

• Tuners: This shipped with cam-style D-tuners installed at one point. They’ve since been removed (pretty standard for banjos from this era). The standard tuners are still in place.
• Originality: Original rim, flathead tone ring, hardware, tailpiece, and sunburst finish on the resonator.
• Wear: Honest 60-year-old cosmetic wear and light finish checking, but no cracks, heel issues, or structural repair.
• Playability: Frets have plenty of life, neck is straight, and it's set up ready to play.
• Case: Includes the original black Lifton hard case in good functional shape.
