Up for sale is a handcrafted Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute 14" x 5" snare drum in a stunning factory Silver Sparkle lacquer finish.
Made at the legendary Sakae factory in Japan (December 2007, Serial: NZ1852), this 6-ply 100% premium maple shell offers incredible warmth, sensitivity, and a broad tuning range.
This drum is the ultimate reliable live and studio workhorse:
• This drum features the highly desirable, factory-original fixed chrome Absolute lugs (10-lug format)—not the fragile plastic quick-release Nouveau hooks found on other models from this era.
• Upgraded Throw-off: Features a premium, smooth-action INDe Drum Lab Universal Strainer that locks your snare tension perfectly in place so wires won't back out while playing. This replaced the original plastic one that was degrading.
• Pro Installation: All hardware work was cleanly and professionally executed by the experts at Baltimore Drum Co.
