The 1989 Fender Stratocaster Plus is one of the most innovative and highly collectible production guitars from Fender’s late-1980s era. Introduced in 1987 as a high-end alternative to the American Standard, the Strat Plus was built in Corona, California, and came loaded with cutting-edge factory upgrades designed for professional tuning stability and low noise.

• Lace Sensor Pickups: Equipped with three Gold Lace Sensor pickups. These unique radiant-field barrier pickups emulate a crisp, glassy 1950s single-coil tone while completely eliminating the traditional 60-cycle hum.
• Tuning Stability Systems: Features Fender/Schaller locking tuners. This premium hardware addition allowed players to use the tremolo heavily without dropping out of tune.
• Electronics & Mechanics: Built with a modern C-shape neck with a skunk stripe, a 9.5" radius fretboard, 22 medium-jumbo frets, a Bi-Flex truss rod, and a TBX (Treble Bass Expander) tone control system.
