Fully Refurbished Vintage Magnavox Portable Quality All-In-One Record Changer Stereo Turntable from 1964

Magnavox was one of the finest quality manufacturers in it's day and this unit is no exception to be of the finest quality. This unit produces quality full sound that would top other comparable units made at the time - It plays all record types: 16 RPM, 12" 33 RPM LPs, 7" 45 RPM Single Records, 10" Shellac Records from the 1930's through '50s in record sizes of 12" 10" and 7" - This unit employs the famous Collaro record changer chassis, which senses record sizes automatically by "feeling" their size with before each serving for a truly vintage listening experience - in other words: automatic size selection (!) - No need -or even facility- to set the record size manually.

This unit was meant to be portable, meaning it is self contained (needs nothing extra to play records, but still depends AC household power) - This unit is a "All in one suitcase" type unit": the body case houses the record changer, the amplifier - the speakers can each be detached and placed at some distance for extended stereo sound. For the "large hole" 7" singles records there is a stacker adapter provided and the phono cartridge has a "flip-over" stylus that can be selected between "LP" (all vinyl record types) and "78" for 10" 78 RPM shellac records. Records can be stacked for automated play, that can last up to 2 hours.

  • Records stackable for automated play
  • All speed for All Record Types and sizes: 16, 33, 45 78 RPM - serving at: 7" 10" 12"

Price: This type of unit usually requires extensive work. I was able to purchase this unit at a very reasonable price and it required less work than what is typically needed, so I am passing the savings on to you. I have needed to sell similar units in the $700 range before.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT - All Sales are: "AS-IS”, FINAL - and: NOT RETURNABLE, NO REFUNDS: LET’s do all that is needed to make sure to get you exactly what you need - BEFORE your purchase (Not returnable)! PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS - I am here to assist. All items are used and VINTAGE - sold "AS-IS" (-> vintage = often 45+ years old!!!) and even with the best of refurb / repair work STILL CAN FAIL) and thus is sold without warranty or guarantees of any kind (AS-IS). I aim to perform all work that I foresee necessary, to provide equipment in well and reliably working condition - refurbish in as much detail as possible - and test thoroughly, to gain confidence through testing, to predict that it will last, but cannot guarantee that. Once work complete, it is still possible that something be wrong -or can go wrong with it (vintage!) - Prices of items offered here reflect the work that went into a given piece of gear until it is listed, but cannot cover what a given piece may need or may need in the future - that would be at your risk and expense - If there are defects, problems or shortcomings: I will be glad to help and likely I can repair, but it will be at additional cost - I do service what I sell at my regular shop rate. Any shipping costs responsibility of the buyer.
