1973 Gibson Hummingbird Custom
This is a beauty! The Hummingbird is such an amazing guitar. And this one is no exception. She shines and glimmers and sounds like no other. The aged cherry mahogany sides and back are not only brilliant, coupled with the gorgeous spruce top they provide amazing projection. Deep resonating bass, and mids and highs that complement the bottom in a very special way. The guitar has had a small crack from soundhole to the top of the bridge sealed and secured and another small crack along the treble side of the neck sealed and secured as well. The guitar is solid as a battleship. The finish is super bright and clean with not checking and only a small blemish here or there. The neck is straight and the frets have plenty of play left. The bridge was replaced with a super nice ebony bridge, and a bone saddle only enhancing the action, sound and feel of this one. We find these ‘70’s Hummingbirds something very special and we are excited to bring this one to market, freshly inspected, repaired and set up. Comes in original Gibson hardshell case. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a true vintage "must have."
