1933 John Juzek Master Art 4/4 Violin
At our Springfield MO store. I do not know of any modifications or repairs done to this instrument in its near 100 year lifespan. Setup great and plays wonderful. Comes with non original fiberglass bow and hard foam case.
A 1933 John Juzek Master Art violin built in Prague, Czechoslovakia, is part of the most prestigious and sought-after tier of instruments produced in the Juzek workshop during the pre-WWII era.
Key Characteristics & Origin
- Maker & Label: Labelled as John Juzek, Violinmaker in Prague, these instruments were crafted in the master workshops of Czechoslovakia (with roots in Schönbach/Luby and Prague) before production shifted post-WWII.
- The Master Art Line: Representing Juzek's top-tier output from that period, Master Art instruments are widely praised for superior tonewoods (such as finely flamed maple backs, ribs, and scrolls), classic Italian-inspired patterns (Stradivari or Guarneri), and hand-applied amber or orange-brown shading.
- Tone & Reputation: Built for advanced students and professional players, they are known for a responsive, bright, and powerful projection.
