1964 was a transition year. Fender changed from tweed to black tolex, but kept 1964 as the last year for the famous 5F1 circuit. The amp was upgraded to an Altec speaker in 1970, and the caps, tubes and three prong cord are all newer as well. The transformer is original. The 2 back panels appear to have a slightly different tolex. The tolex on the rest of the amp is in excellent original condition as is the original speaker cloth. The amp sounds fantastic. Message me first to make sure it’s still available as the amp is also on consignment locally. Thanks
