A working pair of Pioneer CS-77A floorstanding speakers from 1971, in the original walnut cabinets.
The CS-77A is Pioneer's 4-way design from the era when they were building to compete rather than to a price. Each cabinet runs a 12" cone woofer, a 5" cone midrange, a 3" cone tweeter, and a multicellular horn super tweeter. Sealed enclosure, 8 ohms, 65 watts, rated 25Hz to 20kHz. Walnut veneer with the lattice grille over cloth.
CONDITION
Both speakers are tested and working. All drivers produce sound across the range. The walnut is clean with the honest wear you would expect at 55 years old, and there is one minor cosmetic corner chip, shown in the photos. Grilles are intact. Screw terminals are installed and ready to connect.
Sold as-described and unrestored. The crossover capacitors are original and out of tolerance by now, as they are on every CS-series speaker of this age. Budget for a recap if you want them at spec.
