Deering Vega Vintage Star 12" Openback Banjo
We are an authorized Deering dealer. You are viewing the exact banjo you'll be purchasing.
The Deering Vega Vintage Star is a 12" openback 5-string banjo. Its brass Dobson tone ring, patented by Henry Dobson in 1881, balances the lows of the larger 12" rim with clear highs.
A thinner 3-ply violin grade maple rim, 12" Renaissance low crown head and Deering knotless tailpiece give it a classic old-time tone. It has a smoky ebony fingerboard, a wooden armrest and frosted bronze powder coated hardware.
5th string capo spikes at frets 7, 9 and 10 are included at no extra cost.
Includes a hardshell case. Brand new, with free shipping in the U.S.
