Mesa/Boogie Mark IV Rev A Simul-Class tube guitar amplifier head, handbuilt in Petaluma, California. The Mark IV is a highly regarded professional amplifier known for its exceptionally broad tonal range, powerful five-band graphic EQ, and articulate high-gain lead sound. Its three-channel design provides Rhythm 1, Rhythm 2, and Lead voices, with extensive shared and independent controls for shaping everything from full, sparkling cleans to pushed rhythm tones and saturated distortion. Pull controls offer additional voicing options throughout the preamp. The flexible power section provides Simul-Class or Class A operation along with pentode/triode switching. Other features include onboard spring reverb, a five-band graphic EQ, normal and switchable effects loops, silent-recording and slave outputs, external switching connections, and 4- and 8-ohm speaker outputs. This amplifier shows cosmetic wear consistent with age and regular use, including scuffs, scratches, dust, hardware wear, and marks in the black covering. The cabinet remains solid, and the controls, connections, tubes, and cosmetic condition are shown closely in the photographs. Includes the attached power cord. Amplifier head only; speaker cabinet and footswitch are not included.
