Up for sale is a great-sounding, vintage 21" A. Zildjian Medium Ride from the late 1970s. Weighing in right around 2375g, this cymbal sits in the absolute sweet spot for vintage versatility—offering a crisp, singing stick definition, warm underlying wash, and a clean, projecting bell that cuts through without being overly harsh.
- Size: 21"
- Weight: approx. 2375g
- Condition: Good vintage condition. Shows standard signs of age, including minor surface wear, stick marks, tape marks and a natural patina that only comes with decades of playing. The center hole is clean and round with no keyholing to speak of, and there are no flea bites along the edge (see close-up photos).
- Note on Stamp: The traditional Avedis Zildjian stamp is visible but quite light and faint from years of use/aging and could not be clearly captured in the photos, but the physical profile, lathing, hammer marks, bell characteristics, and weight firmly authenticate this piece to the late 1970s era.
A wonderful, highly musical vintage workhorse ready for the studio or stage! Will be packed professionally and securely to ensure safe transit.
