Zildjian 17" Z Custom Medium Crash - 1468g - Discontinued - Good Condition

The Zildjian 17" Z Custom Medium Crash is a discontinued professional crash from the original Z Custom era, built for bright attack, powerful projection, and the ability to cut through loud rock and metal mixes.

At 1468g, this example has a substantial feel while remaining responsive enough to work as a true crash rather than an overly heavy effects cymbal.

Weight: 1468g

Condition: Good / Structurally Excellent

• No cracks
• No keyholing
• No flea bites or dents
• No repairs
• Normal stick marks and signs of regular use
• Some logo fading from age and use
• Original logos remain clearly identifiable
• Structurally intact and fully playable

The cosmetic wear and logo fading are the primary reasons I am conservatively grading this cymbal Good.

This is a used, discontinued cymbal, so please review all photos carefully, as they show the exact cosmetic condition.

Sonic Splice Notes

The original Z Custom Medium Crash delivers the bright, aggressive attack and powerful projection that made the series a favorite among hard rock, metal, punk, and other high-volume players.

The 17" size is a particularly useful middle ground: larger and fuller than a 16", but still faster and more immediate than the larger Z Custom crashes.

At 1468g, this example has plenty of body and authority without feeling excessively heavy. It shows normal cosmetic wear from use, but there are no structural concerns and it remains fully playable.
