I’m selling my IGS Audio TubeCore from my mastering rack at StosLabs in Brooklyn. The sale includes the compressor, its external power supply, and two new sets of tubes.
The TubeCore is a transformer-balanced vari‑mu compressor. In my mastering chain, I typically use it for about 1 dB of gain reduction. That’s the sweet spot for me. It gives the mix a little more density and rounds the peaks while keeping the punch of the drums. The stepped controls make it easy to recall a setting when a mix revision comes in.
