Gibson 1950 L-50 Archtop
Built from 1932 to 1971 at the Kalamazoo, Michigan plant, the Gibson L-50 is a straightforward, non-cutaway archtop with few frills, and until 1935, was most often a round-hole archtop. The solid spruce top is braced with parallel tone bars, and the body has fully intact binding on the front and back. This guitar plays very well and sounds great - tonally balanced and plenty of volume. The neck is a comfortable C-shape, and is very easy to play. Comes with a modern Epiphone hardshell case. Good-Very Good condition for a 75+ year old instrument. There are no cracks in the body, the neck is straight w/ no cracks at the heel, and the finish shows the expected checking for an instrument of this vintage, along with a few chips and scratches.
