Vintage 1971 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Conversion Guitar w/ Duncan & DiMarzio
Vintage 1971 1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Conversion Guitar w/ Duncan & DiMarzio
I am incredibly excited to offer this beauty for sale. I found it in a pawn shop in South Carolina, where someone had brought it in just a few weeks earlier. I had to grab it! It's a super players grade early 1970s Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (Sandwich Body), that had been converted to a 'Standard' back in the day. It's got a Seymour Duncan '59 in the bridge position, and a DiMarzio in the neck position - and it truly is an incredible sounding guitar! The pots have been replaced when the pickups were replaced, and obviously it's been routed for the full size humbuckers (done exceptionally well). It also has had a previous headstock / neck repair, which has been done very well and is sturdy as ever. The serial number 676330 dates this to early 1970s, and it weighs exactly 10lbs. Comes with a nice later Gibson hard case too. A really lovely players grade vintage Les Paul. Grab it while you can! Please see the pictures below as these form part of my description.
