Here is an excellent playing example of an early 1960's Gibson ES-125TDC in a beautiful sunburst finish. I believe its a 1962, could be as late as a 1964 but the pot codes date to late 61. Its mostly, but not totally original. But most importantly it plays so easily.
The body is in great shape with normal light dings dents and scratches and finish checking. No major dings or dents or signs of repairs. The neck is straight and the frets still have tons of life left. There is some light peeling on the edge of the fretboard that would be expected. The binding is all in tact. Slight gap, but rock solid at the neck joint.
Pickups appear original to the guitar. The bridge however does not. It seems to be too new and shiny compared to the rest of the guitar. The actual wood part of the bridge does also appear to have cracked and been glued back together. Tuning pegs also appear original.
The action is low and intonation is on. Nut is thinner at about 40mm and has a pretty thin neck profile. The bridge is not fixed so it may move during shipping and need to be reset. All electronics work as they should and it sounds awesome.
You will not regret this vintage guitar as a player.
