Founded in 1833 in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, C.F. Martin has led the history of acoustic guitars for nearly 200 years. From the dreadnought body to the 14-fret neck joint, the company has helped establish the foundations of modern guitar building. Its rich sound, timeless design, and exceptional craftsmanship continue to captivate guitarists around the world.

The 00-28 first appeared in 1873. After many years, the 14-fret joint model was finally introduced in 2017, and it has become a popular choice as demand for compact guitars has grown.

This is a pre-owned 2022 00-28 Standard.

Its beautiful Sitka Spruce top and deep-colored Indian Rosewood sides and back represent the traditional Style 28 combination. Herringbone trim around the top, a restrained aging toner, and a tortoise-pattern pickguard create a vintage-inspired appearance. Diamond and square fingerboard inlays and the classic Martin decal logo on the Rosewood headplate complete its timeless, understated design.

The quick response of the 00 body blends beautifully with the rich overtones of Rosewood. Despite its compact size, the guitar offers impressive depth and spread, with full bass, glossy midrange, and clear treble in excellent balance. Fingerpicking brings out the clear definition of each note and responds naturally to subtle touch, while arpeggios create beautiful overlapping sustain that highlights melodic lines.

There is a small area of chipped finish near the 9th fret on the side of the fingerboard. Otherwise, there are no noticeable scratches and the guitar shows very little wear. It remains in excellent playing condition.
