Vintage Burny SG with hardshell case. Not sure of the year but based on the open book headstock and the crown headstock inlay, Im guessing its from the mid to late 1970s. This guitar has had a hard life. It has had a heel repair and a partial break at the headstock, how long ago? I dont know but they do look like old repairs. It has the original pickups which I believe might be Gotoh but im not sure. They both read at about 9.5k ohms. The tailpiece is original and says “made in Japan”, bridge is a replacement. Tuners are not original and are Wilkinsons. The guitar does have new pots since the older ones were in very bad shape. Very dark rosewood fretboard. Frets are low and original. Truss rod cover is an old replacement, truss rod works but has limited movement to both sides (maybe its like that, Im not sure). Gator aftermarket hardshell case with some sort of markings that sprayed over sometime ago. Guitar still needs work and selling it as more of project for restoration though it still plays as it is. Serial number that shows 44082. Zoom in on pics for better detail.

If you are looking for a cheaper rate, contact me first and I can send you an offer with a possible cheaper shipping rate. For guitars I will usually ship with UPS, smaller items like pedals will probably go thru USPS. I will add insurance to the package unless you are requesting for me not to. Shipping fees have increased with all carriers which I cannot control but I do my best to offer the cheapest option for the buyer. Packing material and shipping boxes does add to the cost of the shipping but I do my best not have this reflected in the shipping cost. I don't always use Reverb's insured shipping (signature required so please either make arrangements to be home or use shipper's app or website to digitally sign ahead for it), since Reverb's shipping is not always the cheapest option, if you have a preference please tell me ahead of time. If you opt out of Reverb safe shipping just be aware that even though I still offer insurance, in the event a claim is needed the process will be different and could take longer (weeks possibly) with more required information needed (photos, videos, etc...) in comparison to using Reverb's safe shipping (that can resolved in days).
