Hard to find, bad ass sounding original Neve 33122a single channel pre-amp with 3 band eq, HPF and LPF, output volume control and phantom power. High quality rack work by Brent Averill. It has Belclere and Marinair transformers - as it should. These were designed and built by Neve in the 1970s to meet the BBC‘s rigid broadcast specs.
This unit is the coveted version - fully discrete, racked with the original Marinair T1801 output transformer as spec’ed by the BBC.
It is in great working order, and includes the original universal power supply. Cosmetically, it has some rack rash (see photos).
3 bands of switched frequency eq and stepped hi-pass and low-pass filters, (similar to 33114):
- Gain: +10dB to -80dB in 5dB increments.
- High frequencies: 15k, 10k, 6k8, 4k7, 3k3 Hz
- Mid frequencies: 8k2, 5k6, 3k9, 2k7, 1k8, 1k2, 820, 560, 390, 270 Hz
- Low frequencies: 330, 180, 100, 56, 33 Hz
- HPF: 270, 150, 82, 47, 27 Hz
- LPF: 18, 12, 8.2, 5.6, 3.9 KHz
