A friendly Reverb user pointed me to the official Ernie Ball serial search tool. This guitar is confirmed as a BRAND NEW 2026 Axis Trans Purple built on September 25th 2026.
Currently not a production color, so either a prototype or a one off.

This item is Brand New, I acquired it a few weeks ago at a dealer event directly from Ernie Ball.

It will ship in its original case and the original Ernie Ball box it came in.

This unit may be a prototype as it has black hardware instead of the chrome hardware that is on the production for sale models...not sure why this one came with black hardware, but it looks better to me than the chrome hardware. It has a stunning birds eye maple neck.
