Pisgah Dobson Rambler Banjo 2026 Walnut #3895 w/ Upgrades

2026 Pisgah Dobson Rambler – Walnut – 12” Pot

For sale is a beautiful 2026 Pisgah Dobson Rambler 5-string open-back banjo, handcrafted in North Carolina. This is a particularly nice configuration featuring a Walnut neck, 12” pot, 25.5” short scale, Dobson tone ring, Richlite fingerboard, and frailing scoop.

This particular Rambler has also been upgraded with two excellent Pisgah options:

• Pisgah Hawktail Tailpiece – Antique Brass
• Pisgah Walnut Armadillo Armrest
• Free Souldier Banjo Strap

The combination of walnut, antique brass hardware, and the distinctive Dobson design gives this banjo a fantastic vintage-inspired look while retaining the playability and consistency of a modern handmade instrument.

The 25.5” short scale makes this Rambler especially comfortable to play, while the 12” pot and Dobson tone ring provide the warm, deep, woody and wonderfully responsive voice that makes the Dobson-style open-back banjos so appealing. Pisgah describes walnut as having a natural tendency toward a mellower, plunkier tonal character, making it particularly well suited to clawhammer and old-time playing.

The frailing scoop gives you plenty of room to play over the neck, and the Richlite fingerboard is durable, stable, and perfectly suited to an instrument designed for serious playing.
