ESP LTD JR-208 8-String Electric Guitar in Pelham Blue

The JR-208 brings refined extended-range capability to players exploring progressive metal, djent, and modern heavy styles. Built around a resonant mahogany body finished in striking Pelham Blue, this signature model pairs serious sonic construction with genuine visual presence and accessible playability across all eight strings.

Tone and Electronics

Dual ESP Designed LH-308 humbuckers with pull-tap split coil functionality deliver thick, articulate tone suited to both studio tracking and live performance. The direct signal path—1x master volume, 1x master tone (push/pull), and 3-way blade pickup switch—keeps response immediate and responsive without unnecessary circuitry.

Playability and Construction

A bolt-on maple neck with thin U profile and roasted Jatoba fingerboard provide comfortable fretting ergonomics across the extended range. The 27" scale length accommodates 8-string tuning without compromise, while 24 extra jumbo frets and a 15.7" fingerboard radius enable smooth string bending, and the EverTune F8 bridge in gold ensures stable tuning and intonation across all eight strings.
