Up for sale, a 2017 Duesenberg Paloma in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case, hangtags, and case candy. Beloved by the likes of Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey (Eagles), Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), and even Johnny Depp, Duesenberg guitars have a reputation that precedes them, and this solidbody Paloma is no exception. From house-made hardware like the smooth Z-Tuners and Diamond Deluxe Tremola system to a tried-and-true custom pickup complement, this guitar is loaded with premium features.
Weighing 8lbs 2oz, tonewoods include an alder body and a one-piece maple set neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The solidbody construction delivers plenty of attack and sustain, with excellent feedback resistance. This guitar is equipped with Duesenberg's classically voiced GrandVintage humbucker in the bridge, accompanied by two matched single coils, the Pearlito and the AlnicoBlade, for transparent tone and funky in-between sounds, all accessible through a four-way rotary selector. This Paloma benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
