I’m the second owner of this unit; the original owner bought it new, never used it and kept it sealed up in a closet away from the elements. When I bought it from him a year ago, it was basically untouched.
The machine has been fully tested and inspected and is in extremely good condition (belts, pots, sliders, all channels and gauges, etc). I recorded one full tape of music with it and it turned out beautifully.
I’ve started using an 8-track for my demos, so it’s time to part with this gem that I was lucky enough to find.
Easy to learn. Can record pristine sounding stuff, or add great lo-fi grit depending on how you choose to use it.
Your purchase includes:
- Tascam PortaOne Ministudio
- Original power supply
- Original manual
- Vintage Tascam plug-and-play mic with pop filter and carrying bag (used to be included with these units back in the day)
- Type II tape (sealed)
