Vintage 1967 Gibson Melody Maker D w/ OHSC
Up for sale is this fantastic example of a 1967 Gibson Melody Maker D w/ Vibrola!
Pelham Blue! Neat!!
The body is in great shape for its age! The original Paula blue finish is present and has faded into the usual green pigment that is commonly associated with this paint job. The finish has its share of dings and dents, as well as lots of checking. There don’t look to be any signs of cracks or repairs, solid all the way around! There are some impressions on the back of the body, likely from being rested on a coil cable for too long back in the day. All electronics are original, tested, and fully functional!
The neck is in great shape as well. We just polished up the frets, oiled the board, and got it setup pretty dang well! The playability of the neck is extremely comfortable and the action is medium high. Truss rod is functional in both directions
Comes with Original Case!
