1969 Gibson Melody Maker SG large headstock

1969 Gibson Melody Maker with an era correct hardshell case. This is the rarer larger full size headstock instead of the one smaller wingless headstock. The serial number is hard to read and I'm not 100% certain of the year but I'm posting it as that since that is what the shop I purchased it from told it was. It has a 57 classic in the neck and I believe a 490T or maybe a 498 (it has a Gibson logo on the underside just no sticker) in the bridge. As you can see the original vibrola is gone and in its place is a TP6 tailpiece and a harmonica bridge. Pickguard has pickup rings that I believe are for raising the pickups. Original wide and low frets, still have life in them. Has a set of vintage Schaller tuners that were put on a while back. No breaks from what I can tell, please see and zoom in on all pics. The volume pots are not original, they are Bournes low friction 500k pots (I dont have the originals), the tone pots might be original but its hard to tell, the jack and switch do look original to me. I tried to look for markings on the tone pots but it was difficult to make out, if I take another look and find better markings then I will update. The rear cavity cover is slightly warped and I'm thinking it was from some push/pull pots it previously had cause they were pushing up against the cover. As stated above, it has standard pots now. I'm guessing the serial number is 5651324, take a look for yourself its partially faded and hard to read. I believe the finish is original since they were available in this finish.

For guitars I will usually ship with UPS, smaller items like pedals will probably go thru USPS. I will add insurance to the package unless you are requesting for me not to. Shipping fees have increased with all carriers which I cannot control but I do my best to offer the cheapest option for the buyer. Packing material and shipping boxes does add to the cost of the shipping but I do my best not have this reflected in the shipping cost. I don't always use Reverb's insured shipping (signature required so please either make arrangements to be home or use shipper's app or website to digitally sign ahead for it), since Reverb's shipping is not always the cheapest option, if you have a preference please tell me ahead of time.
