Here we have a fantastic Gibson Gene Simmons G2 Thunderbird from 2023, finished in Ebony and built in the USA. This is Gibson's take on the iconic Thunderbird, with plenty of Gene Simmons' signature styling and a serious amount of attitude.
The mahogany body and neck are paired with an ebony fingerboard and a set of Gibson T-Bird pickups, giving this bass the classic Thunderbird sound with plenty of power and growl. The passive Volume, Volume and Tone controls keep things simple, while the mirror pickguard featuring the Gene Simmons logo adds to the unmistakable look.
Finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer with black chrome hardware and reverse split diamond inlays, this is a seriously striking bass. It also comes in at a very manageable 4kg, so despite the Thunderbird styling it's a comfortable instrument to play.
A really cool signature model for Gene Simmons fans, Thunderbird players or anyone looking for something a little different. It comes complete with the Gibson hard case, strap, cleaning cloth and tools.
