Fender/Squier Bronco (2025) - Massively Modded - Ultraviolet

Inspired by LowEndLobster's Ultrviolet Squier Sonic Bronco Bass Upgrade episode, I copied almost everything she did, except with the pickup & wiring harness...and I went a little crazy I think...

Now loaded inside this Bronc is the hard to find Squier Wide Range Humbucker bass pickup. It is the same pickup found in the Squier Rascal Bass and its mounted in a custom Bronco Bass 4 ply tortoise pickguard with CTS pots, a Switchcraft jack and Mojo .047 capacitor.

Now this bass has no chill - It sounds huge & amazing!

As Lobster did, I replaced the stock tuners with Guyker's (Hipshot style) open-gear and superlightweight tuning machines that hold tuning very well. The bridge is the same one that she used from Guyker with the brass saddles. It intonates well. It has a slim and very smooth feeling “C”-shaped neck profile with a narrow 1.5" nut width and a thin, lightweight body. Strung with brand new Labella's. Not a ding or scratch on her AND, it's freaking ultraviolet!!!

This Bronco is now seriously aggressive. Having seen tons of mods where a slightly better Strat-type pickup or similar is installed in a Bronco, or even in a Mustang type and been bored with the minimal improvement, I went huge and not insane like putting a Serek or other insanely expensive pickup in there. I think this would make a great punk or loud rock bass and both it's looks and sound will grab everyone's attention.
