The first mass produced Ludwig Pedal. Beater strikes the head slightly off-center for better tone. Made entirely of iron and steel. Adjustable spring tension and stroke length.
Direct drive single pedal designed for bass drums. In 1923 the footboard became one-piece and in 1926 a frictionless shaft bearing was added.
