Akai Professional MPC X Workstation Leather & Wood Panel Upgrade Kit

Akai Professional MPC X Workstation Leather & Wood Panel Upgrade Kit

Akai MPC X leather and wood panel upgrade kit. Akai MPC X NOT included. This week I'd like to bring your attention to our first wood panel kit for the Akai MPC X production workstation. These custom leather and wood panels provide vintage elegance and robust durability to your Akai MPC-X sampler workstation. The leather lining on the side of the panels delivers classic recording studio styling to the desktop Akai pro sampler. This leather / wood panel kit fastens to the MPC X directly with the supplied hardware - no funny looking metal brackets under your Akai workstation, like you see on low quality wood panel kits.

These custom leather and wood panels are hand rubbed with three coats of custom Danish wood oil, a special blend for a unique color. One coat of Johnson's Paste Wax. The finish penetrates deep into the wood for decades of studio use. The billet aluminum hardware and socket-head screws finish off the look with retro-mechanical swag. I've been engaged in woodworking since I was around 15 years old, winning national competitions. Whatever classic sampler or workstation you got stashed away, pull it out and dust it off... Akai MPC's, Roland Drum Machines, Isla Instruments S2400, E-MU Systems, NI Maschine... Let's work!

Fully Designed & Hand Crafted: Designed and hand crafted with care and passion by the Big Noise Audio staff, in the United States. These limited edition hardwood panels may vary in color and huge from product images shown. The Akai MPC X Workstation is NOT included.
