These tubes were purchased from KCA NOS tubes as NOS, matched pair. I have procured a few different NOS pairs for my 20W Plexi clone. Tried some RCAs, new production, etc. The amp has reasonable plate voltages and external probes for setting the bias. These tubes spent maybe an hour in this amp. I am parting ways with the amp altogether. Not my cup of tea, as I am in the Fender and D zone definitely. Tubes are excellent, internals are tight, no hiss, no microphonics, they test great on my modest Mercury tube tester. I am not an amp tech, but I know athing or two about vintage tubes. This pair is as good as they come for some TWEED clone, or Fender Tweed Deluxe, etc.
