Antique German Diatonic Accordion / Melodeon (Concertone "Superior Quality" Trade Mark)

Authentic vintage piece from the early 1900s featuring original red-finished wood soundboard, decorative gold filigree, metal corners, and turned-metal spoon keys.

Testing & Functionality Notes:

  • Front melody buttons: All 10 keys press down smoothly and produce clear sound when the air valve is held open.
  • Bellows: Hold air with good compression for its age.
  • Bass side: Side bass levers work to release air and sound.
  • Register knobs condition: One pull knob functions properly to open the primary reed rank so the keys play. The second register knob is loose/disconnected and does not pull in/out, so the second register is not currently engaging.

Weight & Packaging:

Instrument itself weighs 3 lbs 6 oz. Will be packed with extreme car.

Sold as-is due to age for display, restoration, or vintage play.
