Vintage 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass Red
Killer vibes coming off this vintage Musicmaster bass. Serial comes back to 1978. Bass was modified and routed for a pickup near the bridge. That has been filled and bass Is back to original configuration with a new custom pickguard and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pickup. It’s an absolute monster now. Bass was recently set up and had frets leveled. It plays fantastically up and down the neck with low action. Lots of honest wear all over the body and a few tiny nicks around the back of the neck, nothing that affects play. Bass has original tuners and bridge. Electronics all working as designed. Neck is comfortable, and frets are in good condition. Truss rod working in both directions. Weighs 9 pounds, 9 ounces. It really is a joy to play. Bass does not come with a case but will be packed and shipped with care. Local pickup is available in Arlington, TX (76016).
