Side Show Drums uses vintage suitcases and a combination of new and used drum hardware to build one of a kind, custom suitcase drums. This is built around a very cool vintage Samsonite suitcase which measures approximately 21" wide ,18" tall and 10" deep.

We have tried several types of beaters with this, and it tends to sound better with a flat faced cajon beater, but the possibilities are endless.

The interior has been re-lined to help protect whatever additional hardware you store inside.

The exterior shows signs of wear and tear from a life of use and travel.

The bass pedal mount has been attached permanently to the bottom of the case and features a rubber top to help secure your pedal.

All the latches on the case still function properly but there is no key.

Floor tom leg mounts have been added to the sides of the case making it nice and stable.

The legs are mismatched which adds to the road weary look of the suitcase.

A 3" rubber port has been added to resonant face of the suitcase to give you the option of using a microphone for more volume or studio recording.
