Warmoth VIP Carved Top

Purple Stained Quilted Maple Top over Black Painted Mahogany Body with Pearloid binding. Warmoth Standard Thin Maple neck with 6100 stainless steel frets, ebony fretboard and compound radius with Warmoth's double truss-rod system - the guitar stays in tune better than most of my guitars.

Pickups - Bill Lawrence L600 Standard Set

Gotoh bridge, Planet waves locking tuners

All other parts - pickup selector, pots, wiring, screws etc. was all purchased from Warmoth. If there was an option to choose a better part, I chose it, and had a professional guitar luthier do the assembly.

Sounds similar to a vintage Les Paul, a bit brighter than a new standard Les Paul. 8.9 lbs.

A few finish nicks on the bottom rear that were touched up with gloss black paint.

Warmoth says: This carved-top design is a perfect blend of two traditional design aesthetics, with boutique styling.

August 2026. I had a local luthier do a fret dress / level. The neck had shrunk slightly over the past 15 years; accordingly the frets were sticking out on the sides a bit. It did not require much work at all, and the guitar plays beautifully. There is slight finish wear on the topside of the neck at the fingerboard as shown in a close up. It is very subtle, and cannot be felt. This happened during the fret dress.

Includes a brand new gig bag, Strap and Strap Locks.

I will ship it in a heavy duty box as per instruction on Reverb.

New, including assembly, fret dress and gig bar would be around $2800. Canadian, plus taxes.
