Upgrade and restore the sensitivity of your Roland electronic drum pads with these high-density replacement cylindrical trigger foam cones/sponges, specifically engineered for Roland PDX series mesh pads.
Key Features & Specs
- Precise Compatibility: Designed as a direct drop-in replacement specifically for Roland PDX-8, PDX-6, and PDX-6a mesh head trigger assemblies.
- Optimized Dynamic Response: High-density foam structure provides ideal elasticity and energy transfer between the mesh head and piezo sensor for accurate velocity response.
- Eliminate Misfires & Hot Spots: Restores optimal contact height to eliminate dropped hits, double triggering, or reduced head sensitivity caused by compressed or degraded factory foam.
- Pre-Applied Adhesive Base: Features a bottom adhesive strip for easy, secure, and centered alignment onto your existing piezo element without messy glues.
- Durable & Long-Lasting: Resilient foam material designed to withstand high-impact dynamic playing without losing shape or crumbling over time.
Installation Instructions:
- Remove the top hoop and mesh head from your PDX pad to access the interior trigger housing.
- Carefully peel away the old, worn foam cylinder from the piezo sensor plate and clean off any leftover residue.
- Peel the backing off the replacement foam’s adhesive base, center it directly over the piezo disk, and press firmly into place.
- Reinstall the mesh head and hoop, tuning to your preferred tension.
Technical Compatibility
- Supported Pads: Strictly designed for Roland PDX-8, PDX-6, and PDX-6a.
