Description:
Custom wall plate pair built by Zane at Jumperz Custom Shop in Pontiac, Michigan. I’m selling the studio, so these are available.
Skip the soldering and the thousands in custom work. Mount the plates in a frame, run the snake through the wall, and plug everything in. Quick Connect uses Molex-style plugs, so you can unplug it and take it to your next room.
Each plate has:
- 15 XLR
- 1 Cat6
- 4 latching 1/4" jacks (I used them for headphones, but any 1/4" cable works, like a guitar cable)
- 2 speakON
One plate is male and one is female. One lives in the control room and the other in the live room. A snake, roughly 5 ft and made in USA, runs between them through the wall. Speaker lines are labeled and use push-on connectors onto the speakON tabs, so no soldering there either.
The speakON jacks let you keep an amp head, like an Ampeg SVT, in the control room and away from the noise. Run it to the wall plate, then from the plate to the cabinet in the live room.
Brushed black aluminum, labeled by section, every wire numbered. Neutrik XLR and 1/4" jacks.
