DW Performance Series Limited-Edition 5-Piece Drum Shell Pack – Black Oyster Glass FinishPly

The DW Performance Series Limited-Edition Drum Shell Pack combines DW's American-made maple shell construction with the distinctive Black Oyster Glass FinishPly. Handcrafted in DW's California Custom Shop, this limited-production kit features 100% North American maple shells designed to deliver a warm, full-bodied sound with a low fundamental pitch and punchy attack.

The shells feature DW's HVX grain orientation, which combines specially arranged maple plies to produce a balanced tonal response with excellent resonance and projection. The toms and bass drum feature 8-ply Hard Rock Maple construction, while the included snare drum utilizes a 10-ply maple shell for additional projection and sensitivity.

DW's Performance Series hardware includes STM Suspension Tom Mounts, quarter-sized turret lugs, True-Pitch tension rods, and triple-flanged hoops. Precision-cut bearing edges enhance shell response and tuning sensitivity.

This five-piece configuration includes a 22" bass drum, 10" and 12" mounted toms, a 16" floor tom, and a 14" snare drum. The limited-edition Black Oyster Glass FinishPly gives the kit a classic appearance while maintaining the construction and performance features of DW's Performance Series.
