For sale is a 1982 Marshall JCM800 50 watt combo in original condition. The Tolex has a proper rock n roll look, and this amp has clearly seen plenty of stages over the years.

The previous owner had it from the early 2000s, stored in a room alongside a collection of other vintage guitars and amps. When I bought it, a few of the pots were very crackly and it still had its original valves. I took it to my amp technician, Steven Ward Electronics in Goytre, South Wales, who did a full service. That included replacing two pots (I still have the originals and will include them), fitting a brand new set of valves, swapping a few caps and a general service of the board.
All of this work was carried out early this year and has only been used at home since.

It now runs perfectly with no noise etc. The cosmetics are rock and roll, but the internals are completely solid.

The only reason I'm selling is that I own the 100 watt version, as well as a digital modeler with tone captures of all my amps, so this one isn't getting the playing time it deserves.
