Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Baritone - Obsidian Storm Satin

The classic Les Paul design has fuelled generations of legendary guitarists, from hard rock icons to modern heavy metal titans like Trivium's Matt Heafy and In Flames' Björn Gelotte. With the Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul Baritone in Obsidian Storm Satin, that iconic single-cut legacy steps boldly into low-tuned, high-gain performance. Engineered specifically for guitarists who demand thunderous low-end response without sacrificing clarity, this baritone monster delivers an assertive, refined voice built to handle today's heaviest playing styles.

At its core, this guitar features a solid mahogany body enhanced with Ultra Modern weight relief and topped with a gorgeous figured flamed maple veneer. The sleek satin finish, contoured neck heel, and rear belly carve ensure effortless access all the way up to the 24th fret on its compound-radius ebony fingerboard. Its extended 27" scale length provides ideal string tension for drop tunings like B-to-B, while a thermally aged maple neck reinforced with graphite rods guarantees rock-solid stability stage after stage.

Sonic versatility is where the Prophecy Baritone truly shines, thanks to a pair of custom-voiced Fishman Fluence active pickups. Using intuitive push/pull volume and tone pots, you can instantly toggle between three distinct tonal personalities: high-output active modern humbucker tones, warm vintage PAF-inspired character, and glassy single-coil sounds. Complete with locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and an included Protector Ultralite case, this guitar comes fully equipped to push heavy music forward.
