The Guitar

This is a 2016 Taylor 322e 12-Fret Grand Concert Acoustic Electric Guitar, finished in Shaded Edgeburst.

The Taylor 322e 12-Fret is a beautifully crafted, all-solid-wood acoustic that combines a compact body, vintage-inspired looks and a wonderfully warm, balanced tone. Part of Taylor's 300 Series, this model pairs a solid tropical mahogany top with solid Tasmanian blackwood back and sides, delivering a rich, woody character with a strong midrange, clear articulation and a lovely natural warmth.

The Grand Concert body shape makes it incredibly comfortable to play, while the 12-fret neck design moves the bridge closer to the centre of the lower bout, helping produce a surprisingly full sound with excellent resonance and sustain. The shorter 24-7/8" scale length also gives the guitar a relaxed playing feel, making it particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, songwriting and recording.

Visually, the Shaded Edgeburst finish looks fantastic against the understated satin body, complemented by the black pickguard, ebony fingerboard, Italian acrylic Small Diamond inlays and slotted headstock. It's a distinctive combination that gives the guitar a lovely vintage aesthetic without sacrificing Taylor's signature attention to detail.

The onboard Taylor Expression System 2 electronics capture the guitar's natural character when plugged in, making it a great choice for live performances as well as studio work.

A superb option for anyone looking for a premium, all-solid Taylor acoustic with a comfortable feel, a focused and expressive tone, and a distinctive vintage-inspired look.
