As good as it gets for a 1957 example
This guitar is in mint museum grade condition. There are obviously the minor marks from almost 70 years of light use but there is no fading and just one small ding in the front top bowt.
The guitar is light, airy and very resonant. The original P90 sounds glorious and is perfect for blues, jazz and a wide range of other ‘rootsy’ styles. This is the guitar (not this actual one, obviously…) that BB King used to record Three O’Clock Blues back in 1951 and that really should tell you everything that you need to know.
These guitars represent a great investment and the ES-125 is one of the most affordable vintage guitars around and the value of good ones has increased significantly in recent years. However, guitars of this age are difficult to describe in words so I would highly recommend a viewing. If you have any more questions, then please just let me know.
You may find ES-125s for less money but not this colour and definitely not in this condition.
This is a UK only auction and I would prefer the buyer to collect in person. However, please contact me to discuss other options (07771 527697).
